The BORT PostOban special width abdominal support assists in case of weakness of the connective tissue in the abdominal area.
Instructions for use:
When you receive your PostOban®, the two-piece fastening system is closed. Please open it and turn the side with the micro Velcro over so that the fasteners do not get caught in each other. Position the PostOban® so that the supporting splints are placed between the spinous processes.
Close the PostOban® with the two-piece fasteners in the abdominal or thoracic area.
Tip: To position the PostOban® correctly, ensure that the Bort logo is facing upwards. Please ensure that the micro-fastener is joined with the velour fastener beneath it, so that the two belt systems cannot be dislodged when you move.
Indications:

• after abdominal surgery,
• weakness of the connective tissue in the abdominal area,
• pendulous abdomen.

Contraindications:
Peripheral arterial disease (PAD), lymphatic drainage disorders and indistinct soft tissue swellings remote from the applied aid, sensory loss and blood flow disorders in the affected body part, skin disorders in the treated part of the body.

No reutilisation – this medical device is meant for the care of one patient only.
In case of doctor’s order to wear support during night, avoid hindering blood circulation. In case of numbness loosen support and remove it if necessary. If complaints continue, please contact the doctor.
