Particularly elastic in the area of the wrist and forearm, therefore can be put on easily. Thermoplastic, pre-moulded volar splint and freely positionable Stabilo® strap for stabilising the wrist. Thumb opening offers particularly secure fit. Silicone pad with recess at the ulnar styloid process to relieve pressure.

Indications:

• arthrosis of the carpal region, 
• sprains, 
• functionally conditioned immobilisation, 
• tenosynovitis, 
• irritations, 
• after removal of plaster cast, 
• arthralgia.

Composition: 68% Polyamide, 25% elastodies, 7% viscose

Wrist Supports support injured structures (joint, ligaments, capsules, cartilages). The compres sion hereby supports the holding function of the ligaments and is thus relieving the joint. At the same time the support helps to a high degree to avoid wrong movements.The soft elastic Stabilo® band can be individually adjusted. Due to the thumb opening the support does not slip.The plastic splint offers optimal support. The highly elastic form-knit allows easy  support application and yet provides a good supporting effect.

Instructions for use:

Adaptation of the anatomically pre-shaped plastic splint: If required, the material of the plastic splint can be individually adapted by the orthopaedic technician at a temperature of about 180 °C. Allow the reshaped splint to cool and then re-insert into the splint pocket of the support.
