Achillodyn Sporlastic has silicone pads integrated into the bandage - they gently massage out the swelling on the side of the Achilles tendon during movement and stimulation circulation. The openly attached heel wedge made of vibration reducing material (no ‘floating effect’ when walking) can be imployed if, in the opinion of your doctor, a temporary reduction of strain on the Achilles tendon is indicated.
Indications
Conservative treatment:
- Achillodynia (pain in the Achilles tendon)
- Tendinitis / Peritendinosis of the tendon
- Paratenonitis
- Sub-Achilles bursitis
