Finger extension splint with wrist support. Soft straps. Positional strap pad. Padding with antimicrobial treatmeant.
Instruction:
Open strap. Place finger in splint with tab under M.P. joint and spring coil aligned with P.I.P. joint. Cross bilateral straps over back of hand, wrap around wrist, and comfortably secure. Position finger strap behind P.I.P. joint and pass end of strap under lateral wire on opposite side and back on top. Secure to loop. Adjust straps as needed. Evaluate fit, function and instruct patient on use. Finger bands, M.P. tabs, and lateral wire can be carefully bent to modify fit and amount of force. Pad on finger strap can be repositioned.
Clean with mild soap and damp towel. Air dry completely before reapplying.
