Wrist and thumb support Manu 3D Pollex Ottobock

In case of wrist complaints, the Manu 3D Pollex prevents improper wrist movement and also stabilises the thumb. The support features a volar plastic splint, which limits flexion and extension.  The splint for the wrist is a pre-shaped thermoplastic splint and the thumb is stabilized with a steel spring. Adjustable thumb grip. Offers support and loading for the wrist, CMC, and MCP joints of the thumb. Measure around wrist joint.

Indications:

• Irritation in the area of the wrist and thumb
• Sprain
• Subluxation/dislocation
• Tenosynovitis (tendovaginitis) in the area of the hand and thumb
• De Quervain tenosynovitis
• Ulnar collateral ligament injury of the metacarpophalangeal joint (skier’s thumb)
• Joint wear in the CMC joint of the thumb (osteoarthritis of the thumb)
